A look in one color from head to toe is really a vibe...
Remember when it was all about contrast and having a pop of color? I never liked wearing the same color together; it was just too matchy matchy for me. And if each piece wasn't the exact same color, you could really forget about it! But trends have changed and I've jumped on the bandwagon. I live for a good monochromatic look! It's such a statement look and it's actually pretty easy; easier to me than trying to coordinate an outfit with contrasting colors. I love the versatility of the monochromatic look as well; you can wear the exact same hue from head to toe or you rock different tones of the same color (like I did here).
This trend has been popping for some time now and even though it's something I've come to be a fan of, this is actually my first time giving it a try. I never had the clothing to do this because I was shopping all over the place and not truly building a solid wardrobe for myself. Since embarking on this journey of creating a versatile closet, I've had the pleasure of putting together some really chic looks; more tips on that to come.
I'm pretty sure monochromatic looks aren't going anywhere for a while which means you can look forward to more of these kinds of creations from me!
