sleigh the runway
Who else is trying to be SEEN this holiday season? Keep on scrolling for some looks that’ll inspire your wardrobe during this season's festivities. I absolutely love Rent the Runway so I featured a few of their pieces with some of my own. They're the perfect place to go when you don't want to commit to an item but would love to take it for a spin.
The Holiday Party
It’s time to step up and step out! Dressing for the holiday party is all about being just a little bit sexier than you normally would, with taste of course. I opted for a long dress with a split. Something about a longer dress just seems dressier and not so casual. The split brings the sex appeal without revealing too much and the color of the dress is perfect for the holiday season. We all know red, green and metallics are the colors of the holiday season so I picked a hue that wears well for an evening event. I couldn't pass on the clutch; it's such a statement piece and almost looks like an ornament! Toss on a faux far for a regal look and all eyes will be on you.

Christmas Dinner
I don’t know about you but Christmas dinner starts pretty early for me. It’s kind of like a lunch that lasts all day. If my family isn’t hosting the holidays, then we make our rounds between both my mom and dad’s side of the family. That means that I need to wear something comfortable for all the food I’ll be eating and something that will transition well from day to night. Insert overalls! I can eat all the food that I want without my stomach letting everyone know how much I’ve eaten. I chose plaid because I think it’s perfect for Christmas Day; it makes me think of gift wrap lol. Platform sneakers are still a thing and I think they make a great companion to the overall look. I get the height of a heel without the discomfort.

Holidate
Gift giving and dinner go hand in hand, right? I’m sure those of you with a significant other, or on the dating scene, can expect to receive an invitation (or two) for a night of romance. The date itself could be a gift but you want to show up looking like the real present. Make sure bae won’t miss you coming with a sexy top and eye catching skirt. The v-neck lace top is flattering for the size of my bust; I find that they work well for women with more up top. I kept the top somewhat understated since I’m giving you a look with the jacket and the skirt. Draping your jacket over the shoulder, instead of actually putting it on, will instantly upgrade the look. And I do live in Miami so it’s really just for show.

Girl’s Night Out
I’ll take any excuse to hang out with my friends over strong drinks and good food. Whether you’re getting together to discover who your Secret Santa is, or catching up among all of the holiday madness, raid your closet for a fun night out on the town. Now, moment of truth: there is nothing better than getting dressed up for your friends, or is it just me? I feel like my girls really appreciate the details and the drama of a look. For an evening with the ladies, I had to bring the sequins! I chose a dress with some movement because I can only imagine how much fun we’re going to be having and I need some level of comfort. This dress screams sass and excitement, with a touch of chic. Be prepared to hear a sea of ‘yasssss’ once you walk into the room!

Fall Festival
Festivals are the best around holiday season. You can expect cooler temperatures, beautiful décor and food trucks galore. To keep things casually cute, I’m pairing distressed overalls with a faux fur bomber. The cutouts in these overalls give this traditional item an updated look. Since it’s the season for fur, this bomber is the perfect way to wear it in a more relaxed setting.
