errands + gladiator heels
You ever feel like getting fabulous to do absolutely nothing?
That's exactly how I felt this weekend. I didn't have any plans but I wanted to get dolled up, so I did just that. I always throw this dress on when I have somewhere to go. It's a million years old but it's so easy to dress up or down. Obviously, I decided to be a little extra with my gladiator sandals. Isn't it fascinating how one thing can take an outfit from one level to the next?
Typically I'll wear this dress with some flats and call it a day but this time it needed a boost. I totally forgot I owned these heels until recently (take a look at my previous post to see how I'm getting some good use out of them). They are pretty comfortable which is always a plus for heels. I first wore them to a Beyonce concert and you know I was dancing all night so that was a true test of how long I could last in them.
If the sandals are the star, then the purse is surely its supporting cast member. The hue of this blue just pops with any outfit. I spotted it at TJ Maxx and it was calling my name. I was trying hard to budget at the time so I literally walked around the store with it before making a final decision; I had to test it out and I had to make sure no one got to it while thinking things through lol! I love how I can carry it by the handles when I'm feeling dainty or I can use the longer strap to make it a cross body when I need to be more hands free.
I live where the sun shines bright so sunnies were a must. They're a funky pair that go well with the boho vibe of the dress. And the fact that you can't see my eyes makes me feel a bit mysterious when I wear them.
So, when was the last time you got all dressed up with no where to go?
