d.c. brunch + olive jumpsuit

d.c. brunch + olive jumpsuit

I felt like I was walking around in pajamas.

This is one of the most comfortable items that I own. I have to resist putting it on at any chance I get. I bought this recently at H&M and I wish there were more colors available because I want to live in these!

A few weeks ago I went to D.C. to visit my cousin and of course brunch was on the agenda. I've been all about dressing simple while still looking chic so packing this was a no-brainer. This entire outfit is one piece; it doesn't get any easier than that! The material is super soft which kept me comfortable while we sat.. and sat some more as we sipped our bottomless mimosas at Toro Toro. And a major selling point was the elastic waist band. I'm not very curvy so that detail helps to give my body more shape and it also hides the tummy I'll never work off if I keep going to buffet style brunches.

To go along with the neutral color palette, I added some snake print sandals and a tan backpack. I am feeling chunkier heels nowadays. They're easier to walk in and way more comfortable than the stiletto I used to gravitate toward. Backpacks are so in right now so I had to jump on the trend. It was perfect for our sightseeing adventure once we were done eating.
